Project Heussler: Modern Wall Cladding for a Milton Renovation

Project Heussler shows what’s possible when a renovation is driven by strong design intent and delivered by a team that cares about the finish. Located in Milton, right near Suncorp Stadium, MyCladders was engaged to complete the wall cladding scope for this project through our friends at Northern Metal Roofing, working alongside RyBuild, with the design led by PHAB Architects.

Our scope focused on the southern end of the home, where the cladding needed to look sharp and consistent across the elevation. The goal was simple: clean architectural lines that lift the renovation and perform long term in Brisbane conditions.

Profile and Finish: 265 Nailstrip in Pale Eucalypt®

For the wall cladding, we installed 265 Nailstrip in Pale Eucalypt®, a finish that suits contemporary renovations while still sitting comfortably in established inner city streetscapes. The profile creates a strong, even rhythm across the facade, and when it’s installed properly, it gives the home a modern, well finished look.

To get that result, our team focused on straight runs, accurate set outs, and keeping the cladding line consistent across the facade so everything reads cleanly from roofline to wall cladding and down to the finer details.

Being brought in by Northern Metal Roofing meant our role was to integrate smoothly into the wider program and deliver a wall cladding finish that matched the standard of the overall build. With clear communication between trades and a shared focus on quality, the result is a modern cladding outcome that adds depth and character to the renovation.

Project Heussler is a strong example of architectural wall cladding done properly, using premium steel systems, including COLORBOND® steel, installed with the care these designs demand.
