Project Warriewood: Architectural Roofing and Wall Cladding

Project Warriewood is a standout example of what’s possible when an experienced builder, designer, and specialist roofing and cladding team are aligned from day one. Working alongside SEC Building and designed by DoS (Designers of Space), MyCladders was engaged to deliver a high end architectural roofing and wall cladding package with clean lines, sharp detailing, and long term performance.

From early planning through to final detailing, this project demanded precision and consistency across a large footprint. With over 900m² of roofing and more than 500m² of wall cladding, every detail had to be executed with care so the end result looked intentional from every angle, not just good from the street. A major focus was maintaining crisp, consistent lines where the roofing transitions into wall cladding and soffits, so the entire exterior reads as one cohesive architectural finish.

Design Intent and Materials: Lysaght Enseam 265 in Basalt® Matt

A key driver of Project Warriewood’s success was the commitment to premium materials and a profile that could deliver strong architectural lines across both roof and wall applications. We partnered with Lysaght, using their Enseam 265 profile in Basalt® Matt for its crisp, modern look and its ability to maintain clean shadow lines across long runs.

For premium steel finishes, the details matter. Straightness, set outs, and flashing integration all need to be spot on to achieve the seamless, high end look this profile is known for. Our team focused on keeping the roofing lines and wall cladding lines consistent across elevations, with clean transitions and a sharp, architectural finish throughout. The result is a cohesive roofing, cladding, and soffit outcome that looks sharp up close and performs reliably in all weather conditions.

This project included custom gutters and 200 half round gutters, selected to suit the design and installed to support long term weathertight performance. MyCladders specialises in architectural metal roofing and cladding using premium materials and systems, exclusively using COLORBOND® steel, installed with the level of care these builds demand.

Project Highlights: A Labour of Love, Done Properly

Project Warriewood was a true labour of love for our crew. The full roofing and cladding installation ran over six months, including several months with our full team on site, coordinating closely with SEC Building and other trades to keep the build moving while protecting the quality of the finish.

This project now stands as a strong reference point for large scale architectural roofing, wall cladding, and soffits. It showcases what can be achieved when experienced builders, designers, and specialist installers work as one team with a shared standard: do it properly, and do not compromise the details.
